One of the things I enjoy about living in the 21st centenary is that where ever you look there is art. As I look outside of my window right now I see two buildings, a changing billboard with ads on it, and all of nature in itself is an art form. However, after we see all of this art everyday we become more numb to it every day. If you seek out the art of the world, then you need to look for street art. It represents the people in that community and surrounding culture!
Something I have enjoyed seeing in Paris are the tagged/ painted trucks everywhere!
Two local tags I have seen multiple times!
Also I have seen street art on walls and buildings. It amazed me that if you just looked up from your eye level all the art that is hidden higher.
It saddens me to think about how many people miss these everyday. As I looked up at a piece of artwork last week, I noticed a women about my age look up as well and then just shrugged and walked away. I was shock at how quickly she dismissed the art work.
Then you have the extra things like stickers and art actually on the street!
And my favorite would have to be when you actually see the artist working on something outside!!
I stood there and watched him work for a few minutes. I was amazed by his skill!
